This type of pepper is characterized by its small size, intense green colour, conical shape and intense spicy flavour. This spicy is the cause of one of the substances it contains, the “capsaicin”, which accumulates during the ripening of the fruit.
Its main component is water (as in the rest of peppers) and is an excellent source of vitamin C and vitamin E, an important reason for the antioxidant effect it offers.
